I, Johnson Samuel, am currently working as an Professor in the Mechanical, Aerospace and Nuclear Engineering department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), USA, where I spear-head research and education activities in the areas of advanced manufacturing and material design.  Besides research, I am also deeply passionate about teaching and mentoring students.

This website is primarily designed to provide an overview of my research and teaching activities as an academic.

Note: As of July 1 2024:  Research entries on this site are outdated and do not reflect the current portfolio spanning metal and ceramic additive manufacturing. Please reach out at  [email protected] for specific interests.
