I, Johnson Samuel, am currently working as an Associate Professor in the Mechanical, Aerospace and Nuclear Engineering department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), USA, where I spear-head research and education activities in the areas of advanced manufacturing and material design.
My research interests lie at the confluence of advanced material systems and micro/nano-scale manufacturing processes. The overarching objective of my research program is to achieve a fundamental understanding of the manufacturability issues associated with advanced micro/nano-scale material systems, with an eye towards the design and realization of products for societal needs. Besides research, I am also deeply passionate about teaching and mentoring students. This website is primarily designed to provide an overview of my research and teaching activities as an academic. Feel free to get in touch with me at samuej2@rpi.edu if any thing here is of interest to you. |
